What we collect

AffordableHome.us collects standard web analytics (page views, referrers, general device/browser information) via Google Analytics, and information you voluntarily submit through our tools, such as listing details you paste into the Listing Analyzer, waitlist sign-up information, or documents you upload to the Document Explainer.

How we use it

Waitlist and form data is used to operate and improve the site's tools and to contact you if you've requested it. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand site usage and improve content. Documents uploaded to the Document Explainer are processed to generate a summary and are not retained beyond what's needed to return that summary to you.

Advertising

AffordableHome.us may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, on content pages. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

Cookies

We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and, where advertising is enabled, for ad delivery and measurement (Google AdSense). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Third parties

We link to and reference third-party sources including Freddie Mac, HUD, FEMA, NAR, FHFA, BLS, and the CFPB for informational purposes. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites we link to.

Data retention and requests

We retain form submissions only as long as needed to operate the relevant tool or waitlist. To request deletion of information you've submitted, email hello@affordablehome.us.
